Natasha Trivedi, Imagined Spaces (Landscape)

This contemporary photographic art series attempts to create visually abstract shapes and forms to achieve equilibrium, thereby evoking curiosity and revealing to the viewer the perfection of design in nature.  By creating an illusion of balance and symmetry in the natural environment, using digital imaging techniques similar to Rorschach’s inkblot technique, these landscapes metamorphose into geometric patterns, imagined spaces and bilateral symmetrical images.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
