Amanda Naylor, Vera (Portrait (2018))

Vera is my 87 year old neighbour who has such a tremendous passion for life and a positive outlook. The beach has been a large part of her life and she still enjoys getting in the water. Despite losing most of her sight, Vera remains active and attends an exercise class 3 times a week so she can stay fit. Her only concession to age and encroaching blindness is she now snow skis with a guide who marks her route.
