The Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM replaces their flagship 70-200mm lens. The lens’ protective seals make it an obvious choice for challenging conditions, and it’s resistant to both moisture and dust. The new lens also comprises fluorine-coated front and rear elements which are easy to clean. An ideal lens for travel or portrait work, the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM now includes Air Sphere Coating – an anti-reflective technology developed by Canon to minimise reflections and flare. Along with fluorite and UD optics, the lens has an eight-bladed circular diaphragm. The f/2.8 aperture is constant throughout the zoom range and lets in twice as much light as an f/4 lens. A 3.5-stop Image Stabilizer compensates any blur caused by movement.
