Leica has released a James Bond themed version of its D-Lux 7, the D-Lux 7 007. The limited-edition model features the famous 007 logo on its top plate along with a new camera trim on the hand grip. It also includes an automatic lens cap with the ‘gun barrel’ design made famous in the opening sequence of the films and a ‘holster style’ leather case.
The camera is limited to 1962 units worldwide (1962 is the year the first Bond film, Dr No, was released) and will be available from March. Recommended retail price (RRP) is $3,290.
The camera’s release coincides with the opening of a new exhibition ‘Photographs from the James Bond Archive’ at Leica Gallery London. You can see a selection of images from the exhibition below.
