The Leica X-U is a completely new type of camera from the legendary German brand, and designed by Audi Design. Extremely good looking, but also very capable, the camera is Leica's very first ruggedised model designed especially for outdoor use.
The 16.2-megapixel X-U uses a Leica Summilux 23mm f/1.7 ASPH lens (equivalent to 35mm in 35mm format), with a closest focus distance of 20cm, and features an underwater protection filter. Fully waterproof, you can shoot at 15m below sea level. The X-U is also shock, cold, and dust resistant. Other features include Full-HD video capture and an integrated flash.
