The latest release from Olympus in their PEN compact camera series is the PEN-F. Designed for reportage, documentary, and travel photography, it features a 20-megapixel Live MOS sensor along with a built-in 5-axis image stabilisation (IS) system that can achieve up to an additional five stops of stability. The interchangeable-lens camera has a shutter release lag of just 44ms and includes a new Colour Profile feature that takes colour or monochrome photos with the look of classic film types. The PEN-F is the first Olympus PEN model with a built-in viewfinder, using a 2.36-million dot OLED. The PEN-F's classic design features milled-metal and control switches. Other features include a swivelling high resolution touchscreen LCD and detachable flash, 4K time-lapse movie, and capture up to 20 fps in silent mode.
