Carli Davidson, the photographer behind the bestselling Shake Dogs and Shake Puppies, returns with her latest book, Shake Cats, which features more than one hundred and thirty pictures of cats, of all ages, shapes and sizes, shaking like crazy.
The perfect antidote for cat lovers requesting the ‘shake treatment’, more than sixty cats, almost all rescues from local shelters, posed for the book. Two striking photographs of each cat are featured side-by-side capturing the full range of the adorable, heart-warming and unique motion of their shakes.
The book also features an introduction by the author documenting her history with rescue cats from her first two rescues as a young girl, Hogan and Lampshade, to her current rescue cat, Yushi. A roster of the models, images of Davidson taking pictures of the cats in her studio, and never before revealed insight into the process of getting the cats to shake, are also included.
