Today at Adobe MAX Japan 2025 held at Tokyo Big Sight, several interesting updates were revealed to Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, and Adobe Camera RAW.
Adobe Camera Raw & Lightroom: AI-Powered Editing
- Adaptive Profiles (Now available in all Lightroom versions & Camera Raw) – AI-powered profiles automatically adjust tones and colours for realistic HDR enhancements.
- Distraction Removal (Early Access in Camera Raw, coming soon to Lightroom) – Quickly removes unwanted people and distractions, making complex edits effortless.

Lightroom Mobile: Improved Sharing & AI Masking
- Faster Sharing – Share links generate 4X faster, with improved copy/share options and real-time customisation previews.
- AI Select Background – Enables background adjustments directly on mobile without needing a desktop.
