Deeper Perspective Photography Awards call for entries
The International Photography Awards (IPA) has recently launched a competition to showcase photography essays that share both their key photos and the context for the images, showing a deeper glimpse to its viewers and a better understanding of the events happening around us.
The call for entries for the Deeper Perspective Photography Awards is open until 5 June, with submissions welcome from both professional and non-professional photographers across four categories: Culture (Political and cultural issues in the modern world), Conflict (The harsh realities of war and genocide), Conservation (Environmental issues, global warming, and our precious planet), and Community (Human interest stories).
Category winners will receive a first prize of US$2,000. Entries must be a series of images, accompanied by text, and and attract a a US$65 entry fee.
