Fujifilm opens flagship store in Sydney CBD
Fujifilm Australia has just opened the doors on its first retail store. Only the second one in the world, following the successful opening in London in 2019, the Fujifilm House of Photography will offer hands-on experience with Fujifilm’s portfolio of cameras, access to an in-store studio, bespoke photo printing services, personalised consultations with Fujifilm X-perts, along with the opportunity to hire gear.
An interactive hub, Fujifilm Australia says that the experience centre aims to inspire and encourage consumers to immerse themselves in the world of photography and experience all Fujifilm has to offer.
Speaking about the grand opening, Tyler Yanase, CEO of FUJIFILM Australia, said: “The Fujifilm House of Photography was launched to elevate a photographer’s experience with the Fujifilm brand, acting as a hub for them to explore, touch, trial, and learn more about our portfolio of products and services through interactive play tables and spending quality time with a Fujifilm X-Pert…”
Incorporated withing the Fujifilm House of Photography is The Boutique. It will offer seasoned photographers the opportunity to have one-on-one personalised consultations with a Fujifilm X-Pert team member, giving them opportunity to talk all things related to the Fujifilm GFX System cameras and GF lenses and test out the gear.
The onsite studio allows photographers to put the Fujifilm X Series and GFX System products to the test, and comes complete with lighting on boom stands, product display stands, and tripod.
The Printing and Personalisation station features two photo printing kiosks with same-day printing and an extensive range of personalised products to order for delivery. Meanwhile, The Gallery will showcase content created on X Series and GFX System gear taken by Fujifilm X-Photographers.
Fujifilm House of Photography is located next to Town Hall Station, at 2 Park Street, Sydney.
