Hobolite has launched a new range of portable retro-inspired LED lights, the Max series.
The Avant Max 80W and Mini Max 40W series come in several kit formats and both feature detachable, chargeable battery packs. They also feature a magnetic modifier system that makes controlling the light quality very easy.
The first, the Avant Max, is a bi-colour continuous LED light source that offers 80W of illumination, and according to Hobolite, offers true colour accuracy across a range from 2700K to 6500K.
According to Hobolite, each light is also individually calibrated to achieve high results on both Color Rendering Index (CRI) (96+) and Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) (96+) metrics.
The Avant Max features a focus function that provides nearly 3.5 times the illumination instantly, effectively replacing multiple lights.
In addition, it includes a detachable 99Wh battery pack and AC adapter, and its focus lens has a magnetic mounting system for barn-doors, gels and other accessories.
It can also be remotely controlled via Bluetooth or NFC tap.
The other new release is the Mini Max 40W, which has similar features to its larger sibling but a lower output.
It features a detachable, focusable light that Hobolite says provides nearly five times the illumination of multiple lights, and handily, the battery pack, AC adapter, barn-doors, colour gels, and frosted dome are compatible with both devices.
The Avant Max and Mini Max are available in both standard kit and creator kit form, with the Mini Max also available in a Travel Kit. The Standard Kit for the Avant Max is $1,399, while the Creator Kit is $1,799.
The Mini Max Standard Kit is $1,199, while the Creator Kit is $1,599.
Finally, the Mini Max Travel Kit, which includes a Power Bank and coloured gel filters, will set you back $1,199.
