Nature Photographer of the Year competition call for entries

The call for entries for the annual Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition is now open. It celebrates the natural heritage of the Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica, and New Guinea bioregions. Open to amateurs and professional photographers from around the world, it boasts a prize pool of over $10,000.

Now in its 18th year, the competition has added three additional categories: Astrophotography, Animals in Nature, Urban Animals.

Finalists in the competition are included in an exhibition produced by the South Australian Museum. The South Australian Museum will host the exhibition of all shortlisted finalists from 26 August – 30 October 2022.
