Photographer takes dip in pool in middle of wedding

If it’s not challenging enough dealing with the mother-of-the-bride or all those annoying uncles shooting over one’s shoulder, there’s another serious hazard to be faced on a wedding day – the risk of falling into a swimming pool and potentially drowning your camera gear.

At an Indian wedding shot recently in California, one photographer safely navigated the first two, but unfortunately found himself waist-deep while capturing the couple after the ceremony as they were doing their grand exit after being presented as husband and wife.

Aperina Studios was commissioned to capture the wedding, shooting stills and motion. The videographer was only a foot away from joining the photographer in the pool. Fortunately for the couple and the photographer, the gear escaped unscathed.
