The Landscape Awards 2023 open for entries

Run by our sister piublication, Australian Photogaphy, the call for entries for the inaugural edition of The Landscape Awards is now open.

Few genres of photography capture the eye quite like a well-taken landscape, but it's also a genre with many challenges. In fact as landscape photography icon Ansel Adams once wrote, “Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.”

The Landscape Awards, presented by EIZO, is looking to celebrate the spoils of this supreme test, as we seek out Australia’s and New Zealand’s best landscape photographers to share in a prize pool worth more than $24,000, thanks to the amazing sponsors EIZO, OM System, SanDisk Professional, and DJI.

Open to both amateur and professional photographers, the competition has three categories: Landscape, Seascape, and Urban. And while the Awards celebrates the work of local photographers, images can be taken anywhere in the world.

In addition, $5 from each entry will be donated to the Australian Conservation Foundation to protect our precious natural landscapes into the future.
