My wife and I had planned to have a birth photographer when our daughter was born but when my wife's waters broke at 27 weeks gestation this was not possible as the photographer had not been finalized. We wanted to make sure that we had this amazing life event documented so when my wife went in for her emergency caesarean section I took my camera. These photos document the 24 hours where we went from being a pregnant couple with 12 weeks to go; to the parents to a micro-premmie baby and the varied emotions that came with that experience and meeting our daughter for the first time.
