Akira Nakajima, A clown and the fortune teller (ART 2021)
Macro photography creates an unimaginable world. This series of photos use the same small twisted twig, less than 10mm in length, emerging from the water with a small water droplet acting as a lens for the surrounding environment. A natural sculpture emerged and formed three different characters depending on the light, background, and lens settings which were different for all three photos. The inverse reflection of the water gives this macro sculpture yet another dimension, especially in the water droplets which seem to reflect different shapes. I invite the viewer to view these shapes, textures, movements, and colours to create their own imaginary world.
