Amanda Stuart, A Pelican attempts to engage with humans (ANIMAL 2025)

The three photos I have selected show a pelican on land, in the sea and in the sky, unable to engage with humans. I wanted to avoid the usual photos of pelicans on a beach or flying overhead. In the first photo, he appears to be looking for an invitation; in the second he is pursued by a very large vessel, and in the third he takes off.
