Georgie James, Architecture (Architecture (ATEP 2017))

Images selected from a photography project conducted over the last 6 months exploring historic properties in the Rutherglen region. Just over 100 years ago these buildings were relevant and were places where people lived and worked. Life has changed so much in this relatively short time and these structures seem to struggle to find meaning and purpose. The spaces stand empty except for pools of light, spiders and dust (and a bit of bird poo!).

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
