Beauty Myth is a social-commentary photographic series, exploring themes of female identity and self-image. Employing symbols, signs and pop-cultural references to articulate expectations sold to women through advertising and media.Using an advertising approach, the images are intended to evoke a sense of unease, inviting the audience to question their role in enforcing these expectations from both societal and personal perspectives.
