Will Lawler, Blue (Single Shot 2020)
Katabatic winds came roaring down the mountains of South Georgia and across Right Whale Bay. I stood, very early one morning on the bow of our expedition ship, tears in my eyes, snot running, ears burning and hands shaking - waiting for the land to appear from behind the curtain of grey. For a split moment the curtains parted allowing the morning sun to spotlight layer upon layer of blue.
