John Dalton, Bob’s Last Peanut Harvest (DOCO 2024)

After 55 consecutive peanut harvests on their beautiful farm, our neighbours have decided to sell and retire, and I thought the only way I could honour their contribution to feeding the world was through photography. As Bob set off to harvest the last few rows of peanuts, his view from the tractor shows the contours of his fertile land and its abundant harvest. This final moment was not lost on his wife once the last peanuts were in the truck.
