Kamil Jureczko, Captivating Eyes (ANIMAL 2023)

Crustaceans with their captivating compound eyes must be my favourite subject of underwater photography. I take pictures of them every time I scuba dive on the Sunshine Coast, where I live. There's this small troupe of Camel Shrimps (Rhynchocinetes durbanensis) that live inside of the missile silo on the HMAS Brisbane wreck scuttled off Mooloolaba. I call them the Silo Keepers and go see them every time I dive the wreck to say 'hi'!
