David Magro, Capturing The Night (Landscape)

Each photograph is a long exposure of either 20 or 25 seconds, excluding submission 5 which is a panorama comprising of 16 images stitched together. This collection of astro-photography images include a meteorite alongside the Milky Way, air-glow, two nearby galaxies in image 5, an iridium flare and also the Aurora Australis captured at Terrigal which is a rarity; as the Auroras are rarely seen past Tasmania.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
