Michelle Taylor-Holmes, Charred (LANDSCAPE 2024)

Savage fires swept through the Atherton Tablelands at the end of 2023 resulting in mass destruction and habitat loss. What I saw was the unburnt growth, its strength of survival amongst the charred blackened scape and the beauty of the emerging colours, the blue sky and wispy white clouds.
