mathieu cocho, Citizens of Paris (Doco/Photojournalism (2019))

Mathieu Cocho is an Australia-based, French born photographer. Not unlike a lot of people who move countries, when landing in Australia, he endeavoured to embrace the culture of his new home, while trying not to forget his roots. This study documents and challenges the traditional idea of French culture through street portraits, raising topical questions such as immigration and cultural integration.
