Jennifer De Souza-Methven, Climate Change's Impact on Fishing and Land (LANDSCAPE 2024)
Every morning as I take a walk at my local park, I see how climate change has impose its fingerprints on the land and sea. Prolonged droughts, erratic precipitation and extreme weather events have turned this grass from green to brown. It gets hot as early as 8.30am with umbrellas up and whatever you can used for shade. Shifting currents has disrupted traditional fishing grounds, hence, challenging the livelihoods of this once coastal community.
