Madelyn Kilkenny, Colours of Female Identity (Art (2018))

Undertaking a directorial approach, I utilized coloured lighting and props in this series to explore the differing facets of female identity. I have chosen these colours due to their inherent connotations in society and culture, with red-blue signifying passion and intensity, pink-yellow representing idealism and acceptance and green symbolizing nature and purity.
