These roadside barbers can be seen at every nook and corner of Old Delhi. The barbers use straight razors with open steel blades, commonly known as cut-throats, and perform multiple shaves within a few minutes without changing the blades. Needless to say, there is no scope for sterilizing or even washing the equipment or razors between customers. But most don't seem to mind. Often, while shaving, the barber will twist your face into an odd position, left ear squeezed into left shoulder, so he can reach the difficult corners.
