Adam Meyer, Decay (DOCO 2023)

Geitz Lake, near Yorketown on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, is surrounded by farmland. The lake changes colour dependant on the amount of rain, bacteria, salinity and water. A farmer's sheep has died on the lake when filled with water. Other animals continue to go about their existence. Over time, decay has set in, causing the sheep to be consumed by the earth, like the evaporating water, until it is covered in a preserving layer of salt.
