Ruth Woodrow, Doors of Melbourne (ART 2023)

Doors, be they front doors or garage doors, are a barrier between the outside world and whatever lies within. However, in wandering the streets, I have come to realise that they are as much a thing in their own right, full of colour, variation, celebration and personality. I feel a connection to my community when I see these doors. I see them as an expression of who they are.
