Dean Maguire, ELEVATE (BLACK & WHITE 2022)

Not only as photographers but as people, we get stuck in the same old routine and nothing new seems to be visible, Sometimes all we need is a little elevation; a new perspective, creates new interest. Coogee, Bronte and North Narrabeen pools are quite popular. Having photographed here myself it was time to explore all compositional avenues and break away from my norm. Using a long lens, walking up cliffs, through trees and shrubs, taking the high ground, new life was shed on these old faithfuls.
