Theresia Hall, Elizabeth Bay House Sydney NSW (ARCHITECTURE 2023)

Elizabeth Bay House is an excellent example of 19th-century architecture in a magnificent setting overlooking Sydney Harbour. Built by the fashionable architect John Verge and occupied by colonial secretary Alexander Macleay and his family from 1839 to1845, Elizabeth Bay House was known as the ‘finest house in the colony’. It has been elegantly furnished to the Macleay period and is a stunning venue for business events, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, weddings, film and photography. These are a few compositions taken during an open day this year in 2023.
