Mark Parnell, Face of the Southern Ocean (ANIMAL 2023)

I wanted to share a bird portrait from each of the places I visited in the Southern Ocean. A Rockhopper Penguin from the windswept Falkland Islands, A King Penguin from the glaciated yet surprisingly lush South Georgia and a South Polar Skua from the icy Antarctic Peninsula.
