Luke David, Faces Of Pride (Student (2019))

In 2018, as part of my study in photography, I embarked on a project to capture a sense of Pride in the LGBTIQ+ community. Rather than pride in being part of the community, I wanted to capture a sense of what they were proud OF. Through environmental portraits, I explore and represent the fact that even though they are part of the LGBTIQ community, they are so much more than only that.
