Venkatesh Kittur, Fairy Martin Magic (ANIMAL 2024)

I was driving within the Western Treatment Plant at Werribee, VIC when I noticed a Fairy Martin sitting out in the open, it seemed odd as it stayed longer than I thought it would. The way it was looking around and quietly calling its parent confirmed that it was a juvenile waiting to be fed. The fledgling was seen to get so excited every time the parent bird arrived with food. It was such a treat to watch the whole feeding process.
