Sherryn Lowndes, Farm Life (PORTRAIT 2023)

Farm Life is a series of portraits of my teenage son that represent memories of me growing up on dairy farm and other events during my childhood. 'The Lizard' depicts a memory of my dad bathing in the sun and drinking Fosters wearing his truckers singlet. 'The Chicken' represents our free range chickens having to be culled as the numbers were out of control. 'The Magpie' is about riding to school each day and each season being swooped by magpie's on our BMX's.
