Kelvin Hennessy, Flight Patterns (ANIMAL 2022)

Different bird species can have very different flight patterns depending on their activities. Using a high speed camera and compositing together as many as 1000 photos into a single image their flight paths and wing beat patterns can be frozen in time. Here I present Crested Terns fishing out to sea, Swallows using our farm as a race track and Seagulls peacefully passing by.
