Robert Valenti, Foreshore Characters (Student (2019))

This series of images are part of an ongoing long term project documenting the well dressed and somewhat interesting characters that frequent the Circular Quay and Opera House Foreshore on a daily basis to attend shows, or dinner outings. I started this project in April of 2018 deciding to use direct off camera hand held flash so as to either isolate my chosen subjects from the background, or to add an aspect movement, or to just simply bring out the sometimes quirkiness of the chosen character. All images are also made candidly so as to try to capture or bring out the true essence or soul of each individual character.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
