Jade Soldati, Frozen In Time (DOCO 2022)

83 yr old Roy hand built his beach shack in the rural coastal town of Paradise Beach in Victoria when suddenly at the time his beloved wife passed away from cancer and since never returned back to the house, 20 years had passed the shack frozen in time remained a time capsule ever since until he was contacted recently by council to clean up his property from overgrown trees for the fire season. I had the honour of meeting and sitting with this gentle farmer while he told me his story of why he never returned because of the painful memories of grief and loss.
