Benjamin Maze, GeoMorph (LANDSCAPE 2023)

Geomorphology is the study of landscapes; their forms, processes and sediments at the surface of the earth, and looking at how these processes (such as air, ice and water) can mould the landscape. The sandstone coastlines of New South Wales are a fascinating look into these processes, providing artistic fascination on top of the scientific. Solid stone appears to fold, ripple and swirl in seemingly liquid form. Though our attention tends to go to distant vistas, there is beauty a-plenty at the ground beneath us.
