Julia Howe, golden rocks (Landscape 2020)

I planned the evening. I looked at the tides and the weather, with the intention of shooting long exposures through coral. however I did not account for swell. (which was at its highest for the week) hence no coral was exposed. instead I decided to shoot the rocks with the water swirling around them. At first the sun was hidden behind a cloud. but at the last minuet it peeked through causing the sky to become an orange artwork allowing for these images. this shoot is the result of luck. a reminder to look for the best in every location.
