Rosie Steggles, Golden Staircase (ARCHITECTURE 2022)

A stunning staircase in the Boola Bardip Western Australian Museum was a joy to photograph. Gorgeous cures, rich deep golden metallic sides, crisp white walls and terrazzo stairs lead guests to different levels within the museum. The sweeping Nautilus staircase designed by OMA & Hassell Architects play a significant role in linking the old and new buildings to tell "many stories" of the rugged history of gold mining in Western Australia.
