Our differences can lead us to make assumptions about others based on small pieces of information we know about them. These portraits are taken from my series Human Family; a project exploring the lives of fourteen people to find out how their uniqueness influences the way they are treated within the community. Each subjects' experiences are vastly different, and reflect attitudes and preconceptions existing in Australia today.
