Darth Cornelius, Hussle: Louisiana Streets (SINGLE SHOT 2024)

"Hussle" was Shot on Bourbon Street, New Orleans, On a 38 Degree night in the height of summer. Throngs of tourists moved up and down the street, and from sun down to sunrise, whilst the same group of young African American men worked, hussling to earn a living. Seemingly immune to the gulf of Mexico's punishing heat, a dealer sits against his Dodge Challenger, Waiting for those so inclined to approach him. In the middle, a boy of no more than 13 drums on buckets as if his life depends on it, for hours on end. Behind him, a man in a du-rag has to take a breather while he sweats profusely, and to left of frame, a pair of european tourists clutch each other, slightly out of place.
