Andrew Privitera, Iceland Blue (Landscape (ATEP 2017))

This series showcases my favourite genre of photography - long exposures, taken in Iceland during October 2016. Some of these images were taken with a 13-stop neutral density filter capturing images at up to 90 seconds, and others - where the light was so dull and gloomy due to the approach of Iceland's winter - did not need a filter..just an exposure of a second or so. For artistic effect and consistency, I added slight metalic blue split toning to the highlights and shadows, to avoid pure black and white.
