Andrea Chapman, Invisible (Student (ATEP 2017))

Created during first year of the Advanced Diploma of Photography at PSC, this series is an exploration of the effects of living with a chronic illness, in particular the “invisible” illness where symptoms often cannot be seen on the outside. Items from nature are used symbolically to represent aspects of the illness such as fragility, restriction and limitation as well as they cyclic ebb and flow of symptoms.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
