Julie has always been passionate about caring for animals and after emigrating from South Africa in 2011, decided to become actively involved caring for native wildlife." (https://www.joeyandbatsanctuary.org) In this series I tried to capture the essence of the work of a true wildlife carer who is not only committed to the conservation of many amazing species (including the threatened grey-headed flying fox) but also knowledgeable and raises awareness towards it in a multitude of ways.
