A series of photos taken in Pogradec and Përmet, Albania. Pogradec can be found on the shores of Lake Ohrid, which acts as a natural barrier between Albania and North Macedonia. Përmet is the closest town to the Benja Thermal Baths. Water is paramount in the lives of residents for both towns with the lake being a popular spot for recreation and the thermal baths believed to heal rheumatism. Albania is still recovering from years under communist rule, yet the people remain open and friendly. It is a nation where even the busiest of minds will find peace.
