Annette Kirby, Kristy (DOCO 2021)

It is a pleasure to profile a young woman called Kristy who has recently started shearing. The job is physically hard, involves early starts and long hours in all weather conditions, is mentally draining and requires a great deal of skill and patience. It also requires knowledge and ability to maintain the tools of her trade. Hats off to you Kristy for learning new skills and supporting the labour shortage in this industry.
