Kristyn Taylor, Life in a Ger. (Portrait (ATEP 2017))

Last summer i had the privilege of spending time with the Kazakhs of the Altai Mountains in Mongolia. The Kazakhs are nomads and some are the fabled Eagle-Hunters. The Kazakhs live in extended family groups in portable gers. They follow the seasons, moving their flocks of cashmere goats, yaks and sheep according to altitude in the the Altai Mountains.
